I join BVG.

The Municipal Transport Services in Berlin (BVG) provide transportation by underground, tram, bus and ferry for a conurbation of 4.3 million citizens and an area of 1000 square meters. They belong to the largest and latest local traffic network of the world.

To communicate dimension and competence of BVG also by means of corporate design, Hesse Design Berlin was asked to channelize possible synergies and to stop separatism of the various departments and management groups of BVG. The intention now is to present BVG as a full-service mobility service provider by means of corporate design and corporate identity as well as to develop the hierarchical structure and brand coherence BVG.

The brand design that has been developed will be implemented step by step into the whole corporate communication such as on passenger’s information or on operational brochures. Following the motto »arrive just in a better way« Hesse Design Berlin was combining emotion and information. The picture language, for which two thirds of the brochure’s space has been reserved, is taking the emotional pretense into account and is focusing on the human beings and means of transportation.
