Werner, go ahead!

On 26th of September 2004 there are local elections in Erkrath and the campaign is revved more and more. The 55 years old jurist and incumbent Arno Werner focuses his successful engagement for the Erkrath township and is pitching with the slogan »Go ahead, Werner!»

Arno Werner attaches great importance to factual embodiment instead of large portraits. Important projects such as a new indoor pool, full-time schools or reurbanization of old industrial buildings are a central point of his statements. »Erkrath should become a favored address for families «, is his credo. Hesse Design together with the Belgian photographer René Clohse (www.reneclohse.be) supports the mayor in developing his campaign.

March 2004

Hesse Design has been voted the fifth most creative design agency of 2004 according to the Page ranking.

Surprisingly Hesse Design was coming in on fifth place at the annual enumeration of medals and awards. As top small agency behind the giants (considering the business volume) and as top design specialist behind the classical advertising agencies Hesse Design belongs to the national top 5 creative agencies. A great success that Hesse would like to continue. Since the initiation of the Page ranking the studios in Berlin and Düsseldorf have come in at the first 25 and has been climbing up continuously. But also before the era of rankings Hesse was competing with the international design scene. Since 1988 the designers from Duesseldorf have received more than 100 well-known awards - among others for excellent corporate design for small companies but also for big clients such as Bewag, Swarovski or o.tel.o. Next to annual reports, catalogues and posters also exotic media such as shares, wastebaskets and mouse pads have been honored. Hesse has always accepted the competition due to sportive reasons, but never leered at it doing conceptions and design. Hesse is still abiding the maxim that the content should dominate the form and not vice versa. This is not always spectacular but authentic. And it will be more successful - as we can forecast for 2004.
